Only Church Weddings?
Yes. We believe a marriage is between a man and his wife. They take their vows before God in a church. If a wedding is held in a field or on a mountainside, that's not a marriage, that's a civil union. That's perfectly fine, it's just not what we do.

To us, there's nothing more wonderful than the mystery of holy matrimony in the Orthodox tradition. It's how our ancestors celebrated their marriage, and how our children's children will celebrate theirs.
